Jean-Kyslaire François (Founder, Vice President),
I am Jean Francois Kyslaire, from Latibolière. I did my primary school and part of high school respectively at the Notre-Dame du Perpetuel School and college Alexandre Dumas of Latibolière. After my freshman year, I left for College ST Louis of Jeremie and then the Lycée of Pétion-Ville where I finished the last two classes of my secondary school. In 1996, I went at the University d' Etat d’Haiti and obtained a degree in Social work from the Faculty of Human Sciences. Few years later, I returned to Jeremie, my hometown, to work for ONA (Office National –Assurance Vieillesse) for two years. Then I immigrated to the United States, more particularly in Chicago, where I lived since 2002 with my family. From there, I also got from Malcolm X College, an "Associate's Degree" in Respiratory Therapy, a medical discipline that deals with the respiratory diseases.
Latibolière has contributed largely to what I am today. Very young, I have had the privilege to take part in cultural and religious groups where I learned the concepts of organization and leadership. That is why, in gratitude, I always wanted to put my values to its service. So I feel flattered and both privileged to take part in (FADDEL) Foundation Alexandre Dumas for the Development of Latibolière (FADDEL) to jointly define a sustainable development project for the area. As Co-founder and Vice-President of the organization, I intend to combine my efforts with those of its other members for the realization of this ambitious project.
