Fello Mars (Canada) Coordonator,
My name is Jean Fello Mars, born in Latibolière. I went to grammar school at Notre Dame du Pertuel Secours school of Latiboliere; part of my high school at college Alexandre Dumas in Latibolière and then Lycee Nord Alexis of Jeremie where I completed my last high school classes. In 1997, I got my degree in electrical engineering at the University of GOC of Port -au- Prince. My first job was in my hometown, Jeremie, as Technical Director of the Technical Centre Technique St. Joseph, a trade school and production built, as a voice for the voiceless, by the defender of the poor our excellence Mgr. Willy Romélus, the Bishop of the Diocese of Jeremie at the time. After a training in Guadeloupe for boat building, my efforts and dedication have allowed me to, in collaboration with the European Union, innovate a major project in 2005 to build a shipyard and fabrication of 50 fishing boats fiberglass for the fishermen of the department of Grand ' Anse and des Cayes. Our Specific objective was to improve the standard of living of the fishermen and also fight the uncontrolled deforestation plaguing the country by building wooden boats. It was a big premiere for the department and the country as a whole. After 10 years of tireless stewardship, in June 2008, I moved to Canada specifically in Quebec, where I live with my family. From there, I took a refreshing training in electrical engineering, my majoring field.
However, it is often said that ''Gratitude is the memory of the heart.'' So, be thankful if Latibolière has made us what we are today. Now it depends on us, in return like a cow that relies on water from the river for its survival. So privileged, flattered, I am pleased to be a part of the Foundation Alexandre Dumas for the Development of Latibolière (FADDEL). As the general Coordinator, I intend to put my experiences, my know-how at the service of this Foundation and agree to combine my efforts with those of the other members to define and implement new large-scale projects for the benefit of this community in particular and the country in general. |
